Artist's Statement

Overall my artwork is about ideas of change and transformation. I like creating large scenes that are a mix of styles and ideas. I usually have a gut feeling that drives the creation each artwork. I focus on making each painting unique in it's own way. I like to leave the meaning of each work open to interpretation. My goal is to make paintings that are uplifting, entertaining, and inspiring.

I started out making abstract acrylic paintings such as Explosion. I am currently working on digital paintings like Android Transform that are a mix of different styles.

Artwork Galleries

Digital

The Digital Paintings gallery contains my most recent artworks. I have been using computers nearly all my life. For a long time I played around with photo editing software. In 2006 I began using a pen & tablet that allowed me to create hand drawings on my computer. Since then I have been working on a series of ten digital paintings. I am making highly detailed paintings that can be printed up to 6 feet or larger without losing quality.

Traditional

Page 1 of the Traditional Paintings gallery holds many of my recent oil and acrylic artworks. I may take a long time to finish paintings especially when I have other priorities. Many of the paintings in this gallery are considered "works in progress" because I currently don't have a place to paint and can't finish them.

Page 2 of the Traditional Paintings gallery contains some of my very first paintings. I originally began painting with acrylics around 1998. Most of these paintings consist of basic 2D design elements.

3D

The 3D Mixed Media gallery contains ceramic, wood, and metal artwork. My main focus is painting and so far I have only dabbled in 3D art. Most of my 3D work was done in college.
