I am officially starting to produce limited edition prints. I will create several versions of each artwork In order to make them available as both limited edition and regular prints. In most cases I will make one version for sale through the Art Store and a second limited edition version for sale in galleries. The limited editions will have unique colors and may include other small changes. Limited editions will only be available though galleries or by sending an order request to matt@mattnart.com.

Wandering Mind is the first artwork to get a limited edition version. There will be 50 prints in the edition. There are also two unlimited versions available in the Art Store.

I have chosen to use float mounting for limited edition prints. The prints are sandwiched between a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic and a black mounting board. A wooden frame and hanging wire are attached to the board. This mounting option is also available through the Art Store. The image below shows the first Wandering Mind limited edition print.

I added some new versions of Wandering Mind and Sunset to the Art Store. The new images are a little brighter.

The online store prints will now have a white boarder, my name and the title of the piece slightly below the artwork image. I added "Strange Flight" and "Grow to the Light" to the online store. I am now totally finished with "Grow to the Light". I will be working on adjusting the colors of "Sunset" and "Wandering Mind" over the next couple weeks.

I have been busy switching to a new website for my online store. The new store offers acrylic and canvas prints as well as regular framed prints. I have to change the size of some of my artworks before I can add them to the store, I will be working on that this month.

Grow to the Light has been on display at the Nuveen Community Center for the Arts in Montague, MI. The show runs through November 23. A reception will be held Friday, November 18, from 5-7pm.

A large print of Grow to the Light is now hanging at Georgios Gourmet Pizza in Grand Rapids, MI. I have also made Grow to the Light available for purchase through the Art Store.

Here is a new article I have been working on titled The Making of Sunset ! Sunset is the seconed line drawing that I've made on the computer. I also changed a few things on the website. I am currently still working on getting Grow to the Light ready for print.

For several years the images in my Digital Paintings Gallery have been a small 600x400 pixel size. I have replaced all of the small images with large 975x600 images. I also added SOLD text to thumbnails In the Traditional Paintings Gallery.

Grow to the Light will be in ArtPrize September 21 - October 9. If you don't know what ArtPrize is click here to find out. My artwork will be hanging in Georgios Gourmet Pizza, a walk-in pizza place "with over 50 fresh, unique combinations of gourmet pizza by the slice". I ended up only doing one day at the Taste of Muskegon event. I am planing on participating in a few more artwalks this year.

I will have artwork on display at the "Taste of Muskegon Art Walk" June 18-19. The event will be held in downtown Muskegon, visit the Lake Michigan Art Walk Website for more information.

I am happy to announce that I now have artwork on display at the Red Lotus Gallery in Muskegon, MI.

I finished testing the colors of my new artwork. All of my new paintings and illustrations are now available as prints in the Art Store! I also redesigned the Art Store to match the theme of my main website. Some of my older digital artworks will be temporarily unavailable. I will make them available as they are completed.

I added Wandering Mind to the digital illustrations gallery and Teddy Bear White to the digital paintings gallery.

I've been busy making new artwork over the last couple of months. I replaced the mini gallery with a gallery for digital illustrations. I have a lot of older artworks that I plan to re-create as illustrations. I also plan on making a few new line drawing style artworks that will go in the new Illustrations gallery. I am still planing to make a few smaller paintings but I will no longer be calling them "mini paintings". Instead I'm just going to put them in the same gallery as my larger paintings.

I am currently working on making a few more Teddy Bear paintings, some new artwork for the illustrations gallery, and Grow to the Light. I plan on making prints of my new artworks available in the online store about a month from now. Sunset is the first artwork to go in the new illustrations gallery. I also added a new artwork called Duck in the Dark to the digital paintings gallery.
